Playmobile Land

Two of my friends and I took the younger kids to Playmobile Land. It is a play park based on the toys. There are water sections, playgrounds, castles and a big pirate ship with water on all sides. You can take these rafts out and paddle around the ship. At the inside spot is a HUGE glass enclosed playplace and eatery. They have EVERY playmobile toy invented in these theme inspired sections and in the back is a gigantic indoor jungle with rope bridges and slides and tubes everywhere. We had a great time and Cody wants to go back and take his brother Josh with him next time.

Wills 15th Birthday!

For his birthday Will wanted to go play Paintball. He invited four friends and three of them were able to make it. They went to a post nearby and played for about three hours. They had a great time and came home splattered in paint (which doesnt come off in the wash I might add). A few of the boys had some serious bruises from getting hit. I didnt get to go, Greg took them as Cody is too young to play. Afterwards they came back for a cookout and some Cake. My friend Lisa Morales (who made Codys cake too!) did a fantastic job on a skater cake.

Dachau

I did not go to Dachau with Billy and Sandy but Greg took Will. We both feel that this place is something that Josh and Cody are too young to experience and get any value from. I am going to take my Mom here because I would love to go and see it for myself. I cant image the powerful emotions that linger there. I am in the minority that I beleive places can hold onto powerful emotions and the energies it creates so I cant wait to go.

Burg Lisberg

While Billy and Sandy were here we checked out a wine fest at Lisberg Castle. Built in 828....thats 8hundred 28 it is one of the oldest standing castles in Europe. It still blows my mind that I am seeing history that is thousands of years older than the United States. We took a tour and though it was in German had a very nice worker who in VERY broken english translated it for us. An interesting fact was that Napoleon had stood right where we stood at one time and gave the castle over to the Family that occupied it after that for almost 200 years. It was really cool and afterwards we sampled some wine from the local vineyards and some Kuchen(cake) made by the locals. The most amazing part was that it is about 10 minutes from our house!

Visit from our Friends

We got our first visitors from the states. Our friends Billy and Sandy from West Virginia came over for a visit and some touring around. They were both stationed here in the service but wanted to come back and see some things that they didnt make it to. Also to see us (hopefully) LOL. Any way below this entry is a link to their website that you can check out to see what they found interesting and here are a few additional pics that I took too. We loved having them here and are looking forward to my mom my sis and her boyfriend Martin in 22 days from today!!!
