One of Dixie's Pups

This is Marley, one of Dixies pups. He is four months old and looks ALOT like his Dad Buck! Marley was adopted by a great lady named Lynn. She is spoiling him rotten and giving him lots of love. I am happy to say that I was lucky enough to find wonderful homes for all three. I will try to get pics of the other pups and will update this post when I do.

Hello Everyone!!

I am now in NY with my friend Stacy and my family. My week at the beach with my family was fantastic. We all got in quite alot of beach time a few of us (Nick) roasted like chickens in the sun. On the Monday of our week we had a family BBQ and party. We made some great t-shirts and had a friendly (not) badminton tourny. Some of us (My sister-in-law Jen) got very competitive after all there was the first annual trophy to be won. Nature was against us but using the Morris family combined intelligence we improvised and forged ahead. As everyone can see Amy and Martin (who claims never to have really played) (right!) won. We also had a special moment on the beach where my fathers ashes were placed. The kids were all there and got to remember Grandpa and threw flowers into the ocean. Once again the island brought us together and gave us more great memories as it has done for us all including my dad.

I think I can speak for all and say that we had a great week that was way too short. But now I am looking ahead to my new adventure. We have had a few more issues with the passport office and am fighting to get my sons passports re-approved. The new assemblywoman here in NY has graciously offered their help and I don't think I would be actually planning a departure if it wasn't for her office. My planned departure date is August 11. I will continue to keep everyone updated as I can and will miss everyone dearly. Seeing my family together was a special send off and I got a great platter signed by everyone and I cant wait to hang it in my new home in Germany.

Love to All

Jenny

Our Day of Hiking

The Lookout Tower

Our picnic spot Frog pond

Cody and I decided to spend two days hiking Pipestem Park near where we are staying. Cody took some more pictures to share with all. We went on one trail that was ALL down hill to this great lookout point 2700 feet altitude. There we had a picnic and took some pictures on an outcropping of rock. It was fun going down but the way back up about killed me. We also went up to a lookout tower that was 3000 feet. The view was amazing. After that we went swimming and cooled off. We had a great time and wished we had Greg and the boys with us to share it.

Four more days till Vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!
